Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register for an account?

For current HKUST members, you can simply log in with your ITSC account. No extra account registration is needed.

For external parties (e.g. alumni, startup), you can register for an account using the “Sign Up Now” button under the “Other User” tab.

How can I find out about upcoming events?

You can see upcoming events on the calendar and past events at the bottom of the “Events” tab. You can also filter them by date range, category and identity with the Filter icon on the top right corner.

How can I register for an event?

You can register with the “Register” button at the bottom of the event page.

When will I know my registration result?

For some events, we may have to do a screening. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email. Please check your email regularly.

Where can I find my applied events?

You can check the list of events that you applied and attended on your Profile.

Can I withdraw from the event after registration?

Yes, please kindly send an email to the enquiry email listed on the event page.

Will I receive reminders for event participation?

Yes, a reminder email will be sent to you. Please check your email regularly.

What do I need to prepare before attending an event?

In view of the situation under COVID-19, our events will take place online. Please use your ITSC account to login and join our ZOOM events.

When the situation alleviates and face-to-face events are allowed, please make sure to show your Pass QR code for the event to the center staff for scanning and marking your attendance.

Can I walk-in for an event?

Most events require advance registration. However, if the event has no quota limit, you may also join the event. You can streamline the process by registering on the app.
